Forum Thread: 2 Kali vs 1 VirtualBox

Can I install another Kali Linux on the same virtual box? Would there be any advantages or disadvantages? Thanks in advance.

Jacob.

As in installing it to dual boot two Kalis? (if that's even possible with your virtual box) Or having a virtual box inside a virtual box?

Dear cracked ninja, I only have 1 Kali installed on my virtual box, yes, I'm referring to dual boot two Kalis on my virtual box ( but I have other OS installed on my virtual box) . (New idea incoming) But, as for your next question, I'm thinking about installing a virtual box in my Ubuntu ( which was installed in my virtual box and then install Kali on that second virtual box (which is in Ubuntu) )

Jacob.

Okay, I don't see what would be the use of dual-booting or having 2 virtual boxes on one. You can run multiple virtual boxes on your real computer. I do not use virtual boxes, but someone should be able to get on soon who could answer your question.

Jacob:

You can install as many Kali Linux as you want in VirtualBox

Just curious. Why do you have two? Does it have advantages?

Dear Cameron Glass,

It is just that I love doing strange things. :)
