Hi guys
since the update of kali sana (2.0) monitor mode has been renamed from mon0 to wlan0mon
in websploit when you enter in the mon device it only accepts four characters.
Has anyone else faced this problem and if so are there any solutions

If it qccepts only 4.. then how do you enter wlan0??
Enter monitor mode the other way which will not rename wlan0 to wlan0mon:
ifconfig wlan0 down
iwconfig wlan0 mode monitor
ifconfig wlan0 up
This is the other, better way to enter monitor mode. Enjoy
This is why many users here on Null Byte prefer the 1.x version of Kali Linux. Until most of the bugs are squashed, it's safer, and easier to work with.
As for your current problem, if you notify the Kali Linux team, and others have the same issue, than it is likely to be fixed in the next update.
