Forum Thread: How to Find the MD5sum value of an Uploaded File Through FTP Server

I am trying to find the MD5sum value of an uploaded FTP file (zip file in particular) using wireshark?

Anyone has any ideas about how to extract the md5 value ??????

If I'm not mistaken i believe wire shark is a recon tool, and cannot check md5sums of a file. However, you may be able to "get" the file and go from there.
