Forum Thread: Is It Possible to Hack Directly into a Router with Metasploit (Or Something Else) To Watch All Their Traffic?

AND be able to continue watching it, even while not on their network? Perhaps sent to a server not on the network or something?

I was told some metasploit payloads may work on routers. Would this be an easy task to watch all their traffic from anywhere?

I presume that you are inexperienced when it comes to hacking devices, so i would recommend using a framework like routersploit. If you don't want to do that, you can brute force the admin login of the router and do what you like from there.
