Welcome to Null Byte!
Unfortunately, website hacking is not "one size fits all". Each hack is specific to the website technologies. There are numerous tutorials on here on how to use SQL injection, but not all will work with every website. In addition, I have at least one tutorial on how to do cross site scripting with Metasploit.

I recently read a John Sanford novel in which the character hacked into a person's network via a cloud and the only information available was the person's cell phone number. Is that remotely possible?
Yes. The only part unbelievable is that ONLY the cellphone number was available. I suspect much more would be available.
