Forum Thread: Mozilla Firefox Bans Flash Player

In OTW's article about using Hacking Team's Adobe Flash Player exploit, he said that there were, in total, three zero-day exploits leaked. Since then, Mozilla Firefox has temporarily banned Adobe Flash Player. I just thought this was an interesting and slightly useful tidbit of information. However the newest version, 18.0.0.209, is allowed. So, what do you all think about this? Tell in the comments below and thank you for reading!

That was a good call by the Mozilla Corporation. I'm surprised that not all browsers have by banned it by now with as many vulnerabilities in it. Although, I think that version 18.0.0.209 is still vulnerable to one of the 0days... I'm not completely sure though!

Good. xD That's all I have to say about the situation.

Oh I wondered if they had done that. I thought it was just me and my machine being stupid with botched installs. Thanks for posting this and making me feel less of an idiot :)
