ok i've had a similar problem. After i wanted to dualboot kali with windows 8 i had missing operating system,and after i put my windows 8 cd and pressed on repair my computer,it worked.I think this will work for u.put the cd/usb in ur pc and when you reach the windows installation click on repair my computer and then u choose...
