Forum Thread: I Cant Activate Monitor Mode in Kali Linux?

Hi all. I just bought the TP-LINK TL-WN722N and i cant get monitor mode to work?
i know the card is compatible with Airmon and Monitor mode. when i try to put it into monitor mode i get
non-mac80211 (report this!) i have searched all around the internet and i cant find a solution :/

there is already a card in the laptop (im running Kali live) which is not compatible dont know if that has anything to do with it? the wlan0 is one wich is not compatible and wlxf4f26d1a57db is compatible.
