WinRar File Archiver

Hi all!

Please help me to solve my problem with WinRar file archiver. The following error message is displayed, when I try to use the WinRar to extract a compressed file with the rar file name extension: The archive is either in unknown format. How to repair winrar. Hopefully someone will be able to help me with this.

Hi,

Use WinRAR and browse to where the archive is located and use the repair option directly on the archive.
Folder to put the repaired archive: Your Desktop is recommended
Archive type: Treat the corrupt archive as RAR
Go onto your desktop (Or where you put the repaired archive)
Open the new RAR file

Install
Extract file
Enjoy
